I decided to write this article recently when I received the following prayer request:

"I have been really depressed and confused lately. I started going to therapy and it looks like I might be manic depressive. I don't really know what I am gonna do or what lies ahead but I am totally scared."

Many depressed and sick teens out there don't know that Jesus WANTS you to be WHOLE. Regardless of what your church teaches, Jesus came not only to make you a whopper ball of energy spiritually, but also PHYSICALLY.

When he died, he didn't only die for your sin so that you could know him personally, but also for your FULL healing.

When you buy a new computer or Playstation 2, you also get a manual from the manufacturer to tell you what it can do and how!

We have a manual as humans - the bible. It tells us how to surf life to the fullest...... lets check out what The Manual says on what Jesus did for our healing:

So we can see from the above part of The Manual that God took our infirmities (stuff that makes us ill/disabled)....but not only that - NO way Snotty! He also carried our sorrows..... he made that way for us to be happy campers..... If we want, we can give all our depression and sickness to him and let Jesus take it for us.... Of course we can keep it if we want..... that cunning old wily devil would be overjoyed to give us more too!

But why do that..... well okay... I know... a little sniffling nose is a good excuse to get us off school for the day. But be careful... if you allow that good fur' nothing devil to give you a sniffling nose all day.... it'd be easier for him to include some other stuff too... DON'T mess with him!

Lets look at The Manual for some more promises on being well as a MAX'ED OUT Christian:

From the above and other parts of The Manual, we can see:

• That its good for our lil' bodies to be alive and kicking in health!
• A Prayer of FAITH WILL make the sick person well.
• God Does the healing. It's not my job pal!
• We as Jesus' disciples should be going out healing the sick and telling them how to be saved. As disciples of God, WE have authority over sickness, disease and demons.
• Never once in scripture was Jesus unable to heal, except when people had unbelief, doubt or rebellion!
• We as born again spirit filled Christians are included in the great commission to go out and "heal every disease and sickness'. There not one single thing too big for God!
• We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit BEFORE we go out.
• From Isaiah 53 we can see that we are healed through Jesus. We need to accept this now.

From the above verses and many more, we can say for sure that God wants you fully whole, spiritually and physically.

He wants you to be EXPLOSIVE for HIM. You can't be fully unless you are living in HIS healing and power.
